How to use Alerts
This guide explains the Alerts tab of the Cryptowatch app.
You can set both price and volume alerts using the Cryptowatch app. Alerts set using the app will send a push notification to your device when triggered.
Any existing alerts you may have created using the Cryptowatch web interface will automatically sync with the Cryptowatch app.

How to create a new alert

There are multiple ways to set a new price or volume alert in the Cryptowatch app:
    1.
Navigate to the Alerts tab using the panel at the bottom of the app, then tap the
button in the top-right of the screen.
    2.
Press and hold any market in your Watchlist, then select “Create alert” from the menu that appears in the lower part of your screen.
    3.
While viewing any chart, scroll down to the Alerts section. There, either tap the
button or the “Create” button to set a new alert.
    4.
Editing or adding alerts on the Cryptowatch web interface will automatically update your alerts in the app.

Creating a price alert

Price alerts will trigger when the price of an asset in a specific market falls or rises to your alert price. Price alerts can inform you when key price levels have been met or exceeded in a single market.

    4.
Your alert is now viewable in the Alerts tab.

Creating a volume alert

Volume alerts will trigger when the trading volume over a specified period (eg. 1 day, 1 hour) meets or exceeds the volume amount specified by you. Volume alerts can help inform you of greater-than-usual trading activity in a single market.
While on the “Create alert” screen:
    1.
Select “Volume” at the top of the screen.
    2.
Use the number pad to input the trading volume that will trigger your alert.
    3.
    Tap “Create alert”.
    4.
Your alert is now viewable in the Alerts tab.
