Use the performance speed throttle in the settings menu to adjust the overall performance of Cryptowatch's Charts page.
The performance throttle adjusts rendering and stream updates for the order book, live trades feed, and price chart. The default settings is 500ms and has a range of 0ms to 5000ms. Increasing the value (sliding the throttle to the right) increases the duration between refresh instances, improving performance and consuming less CPU.
If you find Cryptowatch is performing slowly or consuming too much of your computer's resources, try sliding the performance throttle to the right.
Find the performance throttle in the settings menu on the Charts page (top-right of the screen)
